How to Add Additional Desktops and Workspaces in TradeStation

You can organize your trading setup across multiple monitors by creating and saving custom desktops and workspaces.

1. Open TradeStation Desktop
   Launch your TradeStation Desktop application.
2. Create a New Desktop
   Go to File > Desktops > New Desktop to open a new desktop window.
3. Load an Existing Workspace
   Inside the new desktop, go to File > Workspaces > Open Workspace…
   Choose a workspace that already has the charts and indicators you want.
4. Save the Workspace with a New Name
   Go to File > Workspaces > Save Workspace As… and enter a new name for this workspace.
5. Save the Desktop with a New Name
   Go to File > Desktops > Save Desktop As… and give the desktop a new name as well.
6. Add More Desktops (Optional)
   If you need more desktops:
   • Repeat File > Desktops > Save Desktop As… to create another.
   • Then use File > Workspaces > Save Workspace As… to name the associated workspace.
7. Customize as Needed
   Assign each desktop to the monitor you want, and change symbols or charts as needed.
8. Save Everything
   When you’re done, go to:
   • File > Workspaces > Save All Workspaces
   • File > Desktops > Save All Desktops
