How to Import the SK Chart Overlay Indicators in TradeStation

Follow these step-by-step instructions to successfully import and activate the SK Chart Overlay indicators in TradeStation.

Step 1: Importing the Indicator File

1. Download the SK Chart Overlay indicator file (.ELD, .ELS, or .ELA format).
2. Open the TradeStation desktop application.
3. Go to File > Import/Export EasyLanguage.
4. Select Import EasyLanguage file (ELD, ELS, or ELA), then click Next.
5. Browse to the location where you saved the file (usually in the Downloads folder).
6. Select the file, click Open, then click Next.
7. Click Next again, then Finish.
8. Click “Yes to All” when prompted, then click OK to complete the import process.
   

Step 2: Enabling the Indicators on the Chart

If the imported indicators do not appear on your charts, they may be disabled. Enable them using one of the following methods:

Method 1: Enable Each Indicator Individually

1. Right-click on the chart and go to Studies.
2. Select Enable/Disable Studies.
3. Turn on each indicator manually by selecting it and clicking Enable.
   

Method 2: Enable All Indicators at Once

1. Right-click on the chart and go to Studies > Edit Studies.
2. Select each indicator individually.
3. Check the “Status” column—if an indicator is Off, select it and click Status to turn it On.
4. Repeat for all indicators and click Close when done.
   

Step 3: Opening the Workspace (For New Subscribers)

New subscribers receive a workspace file that needs to be loaded:

1. Go to File > Workspaces > Open Workspace.
2. Locate the workspace file provided during subscription.
3. Select the file and click Open.

If the chart does not update correctly, follow these steps:

• Enter the correct symbol manually.
• Check symbol linking: Click the link button to sync all charts to the same symbol
